~ who couldn't use a little turquoise rope from time to time?  whelp, i use mine all the time!

i gathered a HUGE pile of mixed all natural turquoise nuggets & beads -- smooth cuts, freeforms, rustic, shaped beads, and so on ... i spaced each one with tiny matching seed beads for add't flexibility and movement -- you can wear it long, carefully  knotted, doubled, tripled, or even 4 times for a choker ... it's perfect to use for layering w/other pieces in your jewelry wardrobe ... a real 'must have' for any turquoise addict!

~ i really am fond of creating things that are timeless....like this one! 

i used vibrant A-grade turquoise nuggets spaced by tiny copper seed beads for flexibility and paired up rustic carved bone beads to introduce the red coral wheels which are also spaced by tiny beads to provide movement, finally the ends have more tribal bone beads & sterling spacers....it will never go out of style and could be layered with  many other types of necklaces!

~ funny story...at a show  a customer asked "what kind of stone is this?"  my reply "it's Mookaite" she looked puzzled and said "Mookie who?"  that made me really chuckle! 

this is Mookaite from Australia....Mookaite -- i mixed various shaped beads with oodles of freshwater pearls & seed beads for a long versatile piece....my sister says this stone reminds her of the Fall Indian corn...it does look just like those rich fall colors!

~ take a little spice, and then add a little ginger ... and ... waalaaa! i adore this gorgous .925 hinged sterling gemstone pendant which is set with hand-facetd moonstone, labradorite, prehnite and citrine nuugets, smooth carnelian cabochon and natural shiva shell (drop length about 2 5/8in) with two sets of matching accent stones -- hand-faceted citrtine, lemon topaz, prehnite rondelles and smooth iolite heishi with sm bali steling spacers, then i surrounded them all with spicy red sponge coral rounds spaced by tiny seed beads to make it very flexibility andfinally finished with lapis cubes, freshwater pearls, gemstone rondelles, and a few more silver spacers....so tasty and so de-lish!!

okok, i'll give you lowdown basics, first this stunning .925 sterling pendant is set with an XLG all natural Santa Rosa turquoise cabochon topped with a crabfire agate round (drop length about 3in) then there's ALL those glorious red sponge coral red beads AND all the little turquoise heishe separating them!...the ends are finished with a few graduated rounds, elongated squared tubes, natural turquoise rondelles, and sm sterling bali beads....the picture really does do all the talking as does the title....The Classic.  Period.

~ oooh, this is a pretty necklace.

first the beads, deep rich, translucent nuggets of pressed cognac amber with the occasional sterling spacer & vintage seed bead for flexibility -- chunky, rich, and yet surprisingly light.  i love amber because it gives you great scale without the weight.

now what about that pendant, huh? HUGE!! an xlg pressed amber cabochon accetned with a hand-faceted smoky quartz teardrop (drop length about 3in) snuggled up to lg silver rounds & hand-faceted smoky quartz rondelles...OK, enough of being Chattycathy, let's just say whoever gets this necklace is a lucky, lucky woman.

i spaced all those wonderful flower jade rounds with hand-faceted desert jasper rondelles which lead down to petrified wood saucers & oxidized sterling beads which snuggled up to this fantastic .925 sterling pendant which is set with a highly polished xlg ocean jasper oval & zebra jasper horn cabochons (drop length 3in), finally on the ends you'll find nephrite jade cones and sterling spacers....the hidden meaning real is 'YOU need this!'   LOL

~ these are fairly basic beads, not real flashy, not super exciting, not a bunch of hoopla going on like some of her stone-y sisters shown up above -- BUT she has A LOT going for her--a clean classic design, subtle beauty, & understated rustic elegance.  she'll out last many that will come and go....for years to come!  

she's truly TIME-LESS!!  big chunky hand-cut highly polished olive turquoise nuggets spaced with small turquoise rondelles and finished with teal blue turquoise rounds & sterling bali beads....it could easily be layered with other pieces in your collection such as blue turquoise, coral, jade, tiger eye....you name it!  how do i know?  i had made one for myself and had to create several (short & long) for customers who said "Beth do you have another one of those?  i wouldn't have noticed it, but i LOVE what you wear with yours!!"
