~ I'm constantly drawn to and looking for rustic stones...in the parking lot, on a hike, and in the bead shops...always!  there's something so wonderfully magnetic about the natural beauty of rustic nuggets

to create this torsade, i gathered 5 strand of natural hubei turquoise stacked nuggets that come from the same mountain region in China as Ralph Lauren's turquoise used in his products...righ deep blue, teal greens with hints of tawny tan and charcoal matrix -- they're graduate lengths, so they'll lay perfectly at the necklace for a gorgeous presentation...the ends are finished with sm bali copper beads

~ could there be anything more versatile than the go-with-everything clear crystal?  nope, i don't think so!

look at this absolutely beautiful step-faceted rock crystal oval stone which is set in a heavy fine .925 sterling hinged setting (drop length about 1 7/8in) snuggled up to stacked rock crystal nuggets, then a full strand of sparkling crystal clear rock crystal nuggets spaced by matching seed beads for add't flexibility, finally the ends are finished with faceted lead-free crystal round and sm sterling beads ... what couldn't you wear this with?  i'm stumped.  all i know is that it's simply stunning and an elegant rustic classic piece, you'll love it!

i'm always drawn to southwestern designs, the colors, and long standing traditional influences it has had in the jewelry world ... obviously, this is a southwestern inspired piece

~ a rock solid pendant with a beautiful symbol of faith ... this is the only one i have!

 i created the pendant from a turquoise donut and silver-late 7 brass embossed concho (about 2in in diameter) and matched with a full strand of wonderful lg rustic Hubei turquoise stacked slice-nuggets, and finished the ends with lg silver cones,  rounds, and sm sterling spacers ... a classic turquoise piece that is  easy to wear and will have many asking "where did you get that?"

~ to me, these are essential beads ... perfect for any gal who loves rustic organic stones! these turquoise stones have so many shades of teal blues, olive greens, tan, chocolate browns...wonderfully earthy!!
